Dr Benebo has over 26 years professional experience and has been leading and managing people in various organisations for almost three decades. His transformational leadership style has contributed immensely to the development of the human capital and growth of those organisations. He is a Trainer per excellence. These have earned him the Development in Nigeria Merit Award (DINMA).
He is the pioneer Managing Director of Phillips Health Management Services Limited (Phillips HMO). Before then, has been the Founder and CEO of a Management Consulting Firm in Nigeria. He was also the Chief Executive Officer till May, 2017 of a first-generation Health Maintenance Organization. He has been contributing to the strategic leadership of different organizations, having been on the Board for over 14 years cumulative.
He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management. Also, he has a Postgraduate certificate in Quality Management in International Health from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He is also a trained and certified Assessor of the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) – Excellence Model, from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Fellow, Chattered Management Institute – FCMI (UK), Fellow, Institute of Healthcare Finance and Management; Fellow, Institute for Health Insurance and Managed Care, Member of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), International Member of the American College of Healthcare Executive (ACHE) and has contributed to their International Newsletter, among other professional bodies. He is a Trainer and Speaker at local and International events, an aluminous of the World Bank Institute and the Lagos Business school (Pan African University). He is a Consultant in Healthcare Financing, Quality and Management, among others.
