Henry is a Senior Fellow and full-time faculty at Lagos Business School (LBS). He is the Academic Director of the LBS HR Academy.
Henry leads classes in Leadership, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Management Communication, Sports Business Management, and Negotiation on the Executive and regular MBA, the owner-manager and senior management programmes as well as on the custom executive programmes and open enrollment executive programmes at LBS.
He has held senior executive positions as Director of Executive Education, MBA Director, Director of Alumni Relations, and Academic Director of the Global Chief Executive Programme.
Before joining LBS in 2008, Henry was Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Business Support Services Limited, CBSSL, a human resource management firm; and was Founder and Managing Director at Hebon Consult, a human resource consulting firm.
Henry is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and the chairman of the Education Committee of the Institute. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the CIPM Multipurpose Cooperative Society and a member of the Specialist Certification Curriculum Review Committee of the Institute.
Henry is an author and editor of multiple books, book chapters, case studies, journal articles, and technical notes. His research interests include employee engagement, talent management, the 21st-century workplace, emotional intelligence, and alumni leadership.
Henry is a certified marriage counsellor and behavioural consultant. He is happily married to Bennie.
