Inyang Sami-Orungbe is a Business Administration graduate of Rivers State University of Science and Technology, with an MBA in Business Management from ESUT Business School, Lagos. She has over 35 years working experience.
Her corporate working life has taken her through organizations like IBTC (now StanbicIBTC Bank Plc) and CrusaderSterling Pensions, where she was pioneer Head of Marketing. She also worked within the Guaranty Trust group, at Assur Asset Management Limited, a subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Assurance, now AXAMansard Plc as the Head of Business Development managing high networth clients.
She is an Independent member of the Investment Committee for the Mutual Funds of RMB Nigeria Asset Management Limited (a subsidiary of Rand Merchant Bank).
She’s currently the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Averti Professional Managers, an all-female business solutions agency.
Pursuing her passion to help people retire into comfortable and fulfilling lives, she operates as a retirement expert, training and coaching on Retirement Planning. For this, she founded The Bloombox Platform Limited, an organisation solely dedicated to retirement planning.
Inyang is an accomplished Public Speaker and Learning Facilitator who has spoken at numerous conferences, seminars and workshops focused on finance and financial education, retirement planning, MSMEs, Women’s Empowerment, Leadership, and Faith-based financial and business management
She is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and a Council member of the Learning & Development Network International (LDNI).
She has been married to Sami for 37 years and they have 3 wonderful children (millennials) whom she calls her champions.
