Mrs. Lilian Oluchi Somiari is the General Manager, Strategy, Organization and Performance at TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited. She holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria and a Masters in Global HR Management from the University of Liverpool, UK.
She leads a multi-disciplinary team of people driving people strategy formulation, organizational design, Human Resources (HR) processes & technology, recruitment and manpower planning, regulatory intelligence/liaison and performance management and reward systems.
With over 20 years multinational experience in HR, Lilian has worked in various capacities including Learning and Development, Competency Management, HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, HR Transformation and Process Optimization.
As an industry thought Leader, she has lent herself to the improvement of the HR discipline through her involvement with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and has served as a committee chairperson and member of council. She also continues to mentor and coach young HR professionals as part of the CIPM ready-to-market project.
Lilian is a committed volunteer at Health Emergency Initiative (HEI) and drives several capacity building initiatives in rural communities.
