Mike Chukwu is the Founder/Chief Executive of ASSETSWISE CAPITAL LIMITED, a Private Equity firm. He was the founding Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Spring Bank Plc. He had also been the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Express Bank Plc, and Executive Chairman of Ebonyi State Internal Revenue Board.
Mike’s Banking career also took him through Fidelity Bank, FCMB and United Bank for Africa where he held various Management positions.
Mike trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the high-brow firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). He was the First Prize Award Winner in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Foundation examinations of November 1986, qualified as Associate in 1988 and admitted Fellow of the Institute in 1998.
Mike holds a first degree in Political Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and holds the following professional memberships:

- Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI)

He has attended several management and professional courses including the HIGH POTENTIALS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM of the Harvard Business School and the CHIEF EXECUTIVES PROGRAMME of the Lagos Business School. Mike lectures regularly in the programmes of the Chartered Institute of Directors and the Garden City Premier Business School.
