Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun is a distinguished corporate executive, conceptual strategist, leadership development expert and John Maxwell–certified executive coach. With over three decades of experience spanning private and public sectors, she served as Secretary to the Oyo State Government (2019–2023), becoming the first woman in the office’s 48-year history. A champion of robust policies and collaborative governance, she fostered seamless synergy between executive and other arms of government, earning widespread acclaim for enhanced stability and public trust.
Prior to her public service tenure, Mrs Adeosun led people-management and HR portfolios at Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd for more than 20 years, across different locations, supporting energy projects exceeding $20 billion. She began her career driving sales and marketing initiatives for a multinational pharmaceutical firm.
A University of Benin alumna (BPharm, MBA), she sits on multiple corporate and non-profit boards and is a fellow with CIPMN (Nigeria), and a member of CIPD (UK) and PSN. She is a WIMBIZ life member, WIMBoard fellow and as the founding lead consultant of O’BIA Consulting, she delivers transformative HR and corporate-governance solutions.
