Vicky is a creative, dynamic executive leader, and serial entrepreneur having begun her professional journey as a
registered architect creating and transforming spaces for various organisations and later transitioning into Managing
Director for Profiles International, a leading Talent Management Solutions provider. Profiles focuses on moulding
cultures by creating teams that work. They do this through their emotional intelligence tools, team tools, digital learning
platform and various psychometric assessments. Profiles equips organisations with the data they need to maximize
human potential.
Vicky’s career began as an architect working with Beglin woods. She later transitioned into Symbion International before
setting off on her entrepreneurship journey to found Tarakibu Architects. Tarakibu grew steadily over time and continues
to serve clients to this day, servicing a strong portfolio of clients such as International NGOs like UNICEF, Health care
Providers such Gertrude’s Childrens Hospital, Oil and Gas (Shell/VIVO), Food and Hospitality (KFC), Retail Commercial
developments as well as residential developments. Tarakibu has worked.with various private developers like
HassConsult across Eastern Africa.
Vicky’s curiosity led her to discover a gap in availability of data for companies to make decisions on talent. Vicky is a
founder and majority shareholder of Profiles International. She discovered her passion for people and psychometrics
and started forming various alliances and partnerships with WILEY, a well known company that is a leader in the area of
publishing under Research and Education. John Wiley and Sons are listed in the NYSE and have a yearly Revenue of
approximatley Two Billion US Dollars and partnerships all over the world. Vicky signed off as National Director and
Partner with Profiles International LLC (A Wiley company) in 2015. She also signed off on contracts with other
assesssment providers in the South Africa and Europe.
She went on to partner with Genos International as a Regional Master trainer and facilitator for Emotional Intelligence
assessments and Programmes in the Year 2018. Since then she has certified over 50 Emotional Intelligence
Practitioners and coaches in Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi among
others. Vicky’s Key Strength in creating partnerships and collaborative opportunties has seen her grow the Genos EI
Client Portofio, Genos offerings, and Projects. This partnersips have seen the Genos Brand grow to what will become
Genos Pan-Africa – distributing for the Genos Emotional Intelligence Programmes in over twenty countries in Africa.
In August 2019, Vicky signed off a contract with CrossKnowledge, a leading and award winning digital learning provider,
making Profiles a regional partner and a player in the EDTECH space delivering content over Profiles Academy, the
training arm of Profiles.
Under her leadership, Profiles has grown from a little-known company to a well known brand in the Human Resource
Circles. It is on a path to exponential growth with the renewed focus on business growth and partnerships.
Vicky is the COMFWB (COMESA Federation of Women in Business) Kenyan Chapter Chair. This role will see her
enhance networks within the Twenty Women Member states across the region. Her mandate encompasses aggressively
growing the National Membership base, creating partnerships with supporting Banking and Financial insititutions to
facilitate amongst other services, Credit Guarantee schemes that will be made available to Kenyan Women In Business.
Additional partnerships will include collaborating with various local and international stakeholders such as Business
Incubators like KIRDI, TDB Bank, the Ministry for Industry, Trade and Enterprises and the local ‘Women in Business
Associations as a National Umbrella.
Vicky has a strong work ethic and passion for what she does and is an agile learner which is evidenced by her ability to
immerse herself into new worlds. She is committed to learn and grow both herself, her team and the business.
Vicky holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She is a Certified
Trainer of trainers and Facilitator for all programmes delivered by Profiles. She is also very keen to grow in the area of
Digital Learning Delivery as an expert in this region.
In 2016, Vicky also attended the Female Future Programme run by the Federation of Kenyan Employers in conjunction
with Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands, which aims at developing young women Leaders and
Directors. The main aim of taking this programme was to understand Governance and the board arena. She is also a
member of the Women In Boards Platform.
