Dr. Emmanuel Okeleji is the CEO and Co-Founder of Seamless Technologies, a technology company building the infrastructure that powers work, business, and everyday life for Africans.
Formerly known as SeamlessHR, the company has evolved from Africa’s leading cloud-based HR and Payroll platform into a broader workplace technology company serving nearly 2,000 organisations across the continent, with offices in Lagos, Nairobi and Accra. Seamless Technologies now helps businesses manage people, access financial services, streamline business operations, and improve productivity through a connected technology ecosystem.
Before founding Seamless Technologies, Dr. Emmanuel was part of the founding team that built one of Nigeria’s largest private hospitals, helping deploy over $70 million in project financing. He trained as a medical doctor, practiced briefly, and later spent time in investment banking with Goldman Sachs in London — a path that gave him a distinctive lens on healthcare, finance, and enterprise technology.
Dr. Emmanuel is an award-winning thought leader in entrepreneurship, technology, AI, labour, workforce productivity and prosperity. He has featured on prominent national and global stages, including delivering lectures at the Georgetown University, Washington DC, Yale University, UCLA, the United Nations General Assembly, Nigerian Economic Summit etc.
Dr. Emmanuel is passionate about entrepreneurship and the critical role entrepreneurs play in nation-building and shaping Africa’s future. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, long walks in the forest, and classical music.
