Mr. Ezinwa is a seasoned Human Resource practitioner with 25 years’ experience in international human resources management across the entire spectrum of People Management value chain. He has been actively engaged in end-to-end human capital management solutions in multinational organizations in both the private (oil and gas, consulting, financial services, manufacturing) and development sectors.

He started his career in human resource management in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria where he was actively engaged in manpower planning, recruitment, selection and placement of staff industrial relations and human resource management policy issues. He later joined H. Pierson Consulting as a human resource consultant and later became a Senior Consultant and Head of HR Consulting. In this role he led the delivery of several human resource consulting projects in the areas of restructuring, capacity building and capabilities development, process reengineering, competency models development, mergers and acquisition, as well as culture change initiatives for high level clients in the financial services, manufacturing, oil and gas as well as public sectors.

Thereafter, he joined Nestle Group, where he successively rose to the position of HR Business Partner covering Nestle Companies in 23 countries of Central and West Africa. Among others, he was responsible for ensuring the design, delivery and alignment of the HR strategy to the business in the various Nestle Markets. He led the delivery of Performance Culture Projects – an initiative geared towards the optimization of the people management component of business performance and delivery. In this role he provided strategic leadership for the Industrial Relations ensuring industrial harmony by creating structures and institutional frameworks to drive a conflict-competent workplace where industrial harmony and work-climate issues are resolved seamlessly.

Mr. Ezinwa subsequently joined the World Bank Group in 2008 as Senior Regional HR Business Partner in responsible for the delivery of end-to-end strategic HR advisory services and solutions to client staff, Business leadership team, Country directors and managers in World Bank Country offices in the Africa Region. Key responsibilities included employee resourcing, compensation, and benefits management, change management, employee engagement and work climate management, coaching, mentoring and leadership development, performance management, talent management and organizational development and change management facilitation.

During the period he designed and facilitated numerous training and workshops for the various country teams in the areas of team building, leadership and capacity building leveraging internal and external resources as needed. He joined the HR management team of the Africa Development Bank as HR Operations Lead and Advisor in November 2017. In this role he led the design and implementation of the annual human resources management programs and work plan cutting across client engagement, talent management, performance management, compensation management, leadership development, coaching and mentoring process improvement as well as digitalization of people management processes.

He led the employee relations and case management workstream focused on strengthening the process acting as interface with senior management, board of directors, staff and managers and other internal and external stakeholders on strategic and operational human resources management issues providing advisory services across the entire spectrum of the human resource management value chain.

Since January 2021, Mr. Ezinwa became the division manager, HR Clients Services, Recruitment and Employee Engagement in the People and Talent Management Complex of African Development Bank.  He is currently the Acting Director for HR Operations, Recruitment, and Client Services, a position he has held since June 2022.

Mr. Ezinwa holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Benin and a master’s degree in legal studies from Lagos State University specializing international law and diplomacy. He has attended several international HR Leadership courses including the Wharton Business School Pennsylvania USA, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) as well as the Institute of Management Development, Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr. Ezinwa is a certified yellow belt holder in the lean six sigma as a well a Certified Predictive Index (PI) Europe tool Assessor.
