Uchenna S. Ajo is an accomplished Human Resources executive, business leader, and people strategist with over two decades of experience building high-performing organizations and developing exceptional talent across Africa and global markets. She currently serves as the Group Director – Human Resources & General Services for FMN Group, where she leads the organization’s people agenda, culture transformation, leadership development, and workforce effectiveness strategy.
Before joining FMN Group in 2023, Uchenna spent over twenty (20) years with Procter & Gamble, where she held several leadership positions and responsibilities across Nigeria,
Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and India. Her responsibilities spanned Talent management, executive compensation, organizational development, leadership effectiveness, and people strategy. She ultimately served as Senior HR Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, shaping workforce strategies across multiple countries and cultures.
A highly respected voice in the HR profession, Uchenna has built a reputation for fostering inclusive workplaces, nurturing future leaders, and enabling organizations to navigate change with confidence. Her experience in both multinational and indigenous business environments gives her a unique perspective on how organizations can align people, culture, and performance to achieve sustainable growth.
In recognition of her expertise and leadership, she was appointed a Non-Executive Director of Honeywell Flour Mills Plc in 2024, further strengthening her contribution to corporate governance and strategic oversight.
