The Registrar/Chief Executive, Ms. Oluwatoyin Naiwo, FCIPM led the CIPM team, on behalf of the President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Mr Olusegun Mojeed, FCIPM, the Governing Council and members of the Institute to pay a condolence visit to the Lagos State Government on the recent bus/train accident that sadly claimed the lives of some civil servants in the State.
As an Institute that is empathetic towards the plight of people, the Registrar expressed condolences to the State Government and affirmed the Institute’s support. She also presented relief materials for the victims to the State.
On behalf of the Lagos State Governor and Head of Service of the State, Mrs. Boladele Dapo-Thomas, Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, appreciated and commended the Institute for the thoughtfulness to pay a visit at a time like this. Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola, FCIPM, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Public Service Office, further thanked the Institute for the relief items donated.
The CIPM team was warmly received by members of the body of Permanent Secretaries, Directors of the Civil Service and representatives of the CIPM Alausa Chapter.
