The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) has announced that from 2022, it would conduct four (4) online examination diets yearly going forward in March, July, September, and December.
This was revealed recently through a publication by the Institute. The online examination diets commenced in 2020 in response to new realities occasioned by the pandemic, allowing students to write their examinations safely and comfortably from their locations anywhere in the world.
According to the President & Chairman of the Governing Council of CIPM, Mr. Olusegun Mojeed, CIPM examination diets will now hold every quarter with the possibility of a candidate finishing all examination stages within a year. In other words, a student member could become a Licensed Human Resource Practitioner (HRPL) within one year, depending on the stage she or he starts from, and progressively passes all the applicable stages and gets inducted. Prior to this technology-enhanced move, the CIPM examination was conducted twice yearly. The President emphasized that the ultimate is for our students to log on to our examination portals whenever they are ready and go on to qualify at their own pace.
The online examination, set in the style of Multiple-Choice Questions, limits human interference with no examiners and markers because the marking is on-screen. Persons interested in partaking in the examinations can take advantage of the online and on-site study centres and soft copy study packs available on the student’s portal.
