ACCELERATED UPGRADE FROM ASSOCIATE TO FULL MEMBER

The accelerated upgrade shall be accessible only to Associate members who have spent a minimum of three (3) calendar years on the Associate member grade from the date of admission.

S/NELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
1Higher Degree (i.e., master’s degree, Ph.D.)
2Minimum of Twelve (12) years post-graduation/NYSC experience. Six (6) years of core HR/ Administrative experience, five (5) of which must be at the Senior Management/Executive level AND in a cross-functional management role in a structured/recognized Organisation
3Head of Department, Senior Manager, Team Lead, Functional Lead, Senior Specialist, Senior HR Consultant, etc., and GL 15 and above or its equivalent.
4Three (3) records of attendance at the CIPM Learning programmes (Mandatory Continuous Professional Education (MCPE)/ Special HR Forum (SHRF) / International Conference and Exhibition) (The courses must be attended in the last 3 years
5Valid Human Resource Practitioners’ License
6Membership of the HR Chapter/State Branch and participation at the state conference
7Attendance at Annual General Meeting
8Membership/Participation in National Committee/Council Meetings
9Two (2) attendances at other non-fee-paying events of the Institute
10Publications/Facilitation of Lectures/ Examiner Facilitation of CIPM training/Knowledge Sharing sessions at (National and Branch levels) or other training Publication of HR Articles/Content/ Resources/ Research/ Reports/Survey on the CIPM website, Journals, and Books. Role as an Examiner Mentorship and Coaching Volunteer as a Coach and Mentor in the CIPM Coaching and Mentoring Program Serve as HR Knowledge Advisors  Internship Opportunities for young HR professionals  
Application Assessment: To be eligible for an Upgrade Interview, applicants must obtain a minimum score of 40 out of 70 in the application assessment to be invited by the Membership Committee
11Applicants must achieve a minimum score of 10 out of 20 in the upgrade interview session
12Upon successful completion of the interview assessment and approval by the Governing Council, you will be required to participate in a One-day mandatory programme titled “Strategic Human Resource Management Master Class”  as part of the upgrade process.
13Successful applicants shall be upgraded as Full Members of the Institute.
